We do this with my Dad and we simply apply some on a cotton bud, but make sure you put some cotton wool or ear plugs in the ear first to stop any cream going to far in the inner ear. Before using these creams, do a patch test on your arm. If the patch test does not cause any skin reaction, you can safely use the cream on the ears.. We normally use Nair facial hair removing cream as this is more sensitive.
Apply using a cotton bud on your ears and leave it on for about fifteen minutes. Then wipe off the cream and the hair from the ear with a cloth, and finally wash off with cold water. Hair removing creams are quite convenient to use, though they do not remove the hair permanently. The hair re-grows after about 10-15 days and the cream needs to be re-applied again.
